Updated: Nov 18, 2022

"The splendour of festivals in India is a sight to see. At the beginning of the Ashwin (autumn) and Chaitra (spring), months according to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Navratri is observed with prayers and cheerfulness. The Navratri festival is a chance to refresh our minds during these seasons when nature alters for new beginnings.

Navratri is Hindi for ""nine nights."" Nava means ""nine"" and Ratri means ""night."" Navratri represents the victory of good over evil, even when that evil comes from our own chaotic and cluttered minds. We have nine days to clear our minds of unhelpful thoughts and begin again. We eagerly anticipate the Dandiya and Garba nights during Navratri, and everyone takes part with tremendous fervour while wearing traditional clothing and jewellery. The festival's last day is known as Vijayadashami or ""Dussehra.""

This Navratri we bring to you the Jooliverse where you can shop from your favourite brands with just a click. For the right pair of traditional Jootis for your Navratri attire check out Crystal Dream in the Jooliverse, or add the gold dust magic to your attire with this golden jooti from Chandelier.
